Derek Chen started APStudy in 2024, his sophomore year in high school, where he grew the resource contributor team and worked alongside summer interns. Over time, the organization has grown to encompass multiple branches helping high school and college students alike.

Derek is now at Emory University with an intended major of Chemistry on the Premed Track, and aims to continue expanding the organization.

Malay Singh joined APStudy in 2024 as a developer, helping build and improve the platform's website and resources for students. He is currently a first-year student at Texas A&M University, where he plans to study Computer Science.

Jack McMurry joined APStudy in the summer of 2026 to help connect students with internships, jobs, and scholarships. He is currently a first-year student at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he is pursuing a B.B.A. in finance.
